Steel forgings are susceptible to transit corrosion, particularly in humid sea freight containers. We wrap all export forgings in VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) poly film, which releases corrosion-inhibiting vapour around the component surface and protects against rust for 24+ months in sealed packaging. VCI is compatible with all steel grades and requires no cleaning before use at the customer's facility.
Heavy or irregularly shaped forgings are packed in heat-treated wooden crates complying with ISPM-15 (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures). All wood used is kiln-dried or heat-treated to eliminate the risk of pest infestation, marked with the ISPM-15 stamp (MB or HT mark). This is a mandatory requirement for wooden packaging to most export destinations including EU, USA, Australia and China.
Smaller forgings are palletised on ISPM-15 pallets, wrapped in stretch film and strapped. We load FCL 20′ and 40′ containers with maximum density using a container loading plan prepared by our logistics team. LCL shipments are consolidated at Mundra or JNPT CFS facilities. We provide cargo tracking from our factory to the destination port.
Air freight for urgent samples, prototype parts or breakdown spares is managed through Rajkot Airport (RAJ) or Ahmedabad Airport (AMD) with connections to all major global freight hubs. Air freight cartons use rigid foam inserts and shock-indicator labels for precision or heat-treated components. Air airway bills are issued within 24 hours of pickup.

Yes. We supply on FOB Mundra, CIF destination port and DAP destination as agreed at order stage. FOB is the most common term for export customers with their own freight contracts. CIF and DAP are offered for customers who prefer a single landed cost. All Incoterms include marine cargo insurance as standard. Incoterm and port of discharge are confirmed on the proforma invoice.
