Chrome-molybdenum alloy steel for high-performance pump shafts, coupling and motor shafts requiring tensile strength 700–900 MPa after Q&T. Excellent fatigue resistance for cyclic loading in reciprocating compressor applications.
High-strength Ni-Cr-Mo steel for compressor piston rods and high-pressure pump shafts. Q&T to 900–1,100 MPa UTS. Superior notch toughness vs. 42CrMo4 for dynamic loading applications. Hard chrome plating adhesion is excellent on this grade.
